Note: One-piece, tight-fitting main garments that extend from neck to ankles or feet, usually made of knitted material; designed for everyday wear rather than for physical activities; dating from the second half of the 20th century. Distinguished from "leotards," which are designed for physical activities such as by acrobats and dancers.

Additional Notes:
Dutch ..... Strakke bovenkleding uit één geheel van nek tot enkels of voeten, meestal gemaakt van stretch materialen; dateert uit de tweede helft van de 20e eeuw. Gebruik 'stretchpakjes' voor strakke bovenkleding uit één geheel bedoeld voor lichamelijke activiteiten, zoals bijvoorbeeld dans of acrobatiek. 
German ..... Einteiliges, eng anliegendes Kleidungsstück, das vom Hals bis zum Knöchel oder den Füßen reicht und das in der Regel aus gestricktem Material besteht; wurde in der zweiten Hälfte des 20. Jahrhunderts als Alltagskleidung und weniger für körperliche Aktivitäten entwickelt. Unterscheidet sich von "Turnanzug", der für körperliche Aktivitäten entworfen wurde, wie z.B für Akrobaten und Tänzer. 
Spanish ..... Prenda principal de una sola pieza, bien ajustada, que se extiende desde el cuello hasta los tobillos o pies; por lo general, realizada de material tejido y diseñada para llevar todos los días más que para actividades físicas; data de la segunda mitad del siglo XX. Se diferencia de los leotardos, los cuales se diseñan para actividades físicas como las realizadas por acróbatas y bailarines.
