| Dutch ..... Kartonnen of houten leesboekjes die bestaan uit twee of drie bladzijden waarop de letters van het alfabet alsmede getallen, eenvoudige tekst en soms afbeeldingen worden (af)gedrukt. Vaak wordt het afgedrukte ter bescherming voorzien van een laklaag. Te onderscheiden van 'ABC-boekjes'. Deze abecedariums bestaan meestal uit TTn vel perkamentpapier of een laagje papier dat op een dun houten bord is geplakt. Vroeger werden zulke plankjes soms beschermd door een doorzichtige plaat van hoorn. |

Elementare Lernhilfe aus Pappe oder Holz, in der auf zwei bis drei Seiten das Alphabet, Zahlen, einfacher Text und manchmal Bilder eingeprägt oder aufgedruckt sind, oft mit einer schützenden Beschichtung. Vorgänger war das "Abc-Täfelchen", das üblicherweise aus einem Blatt Pergament oder Papier bestand, welches auf einem dünnen Holzbrett befestigt war und von einer Platte aus transparentem Horn geschützt wurde. |

Textos elementales de cartón o madera, consistentes en dos o tres páginas con el alfabeto, los números, un texto sencillo y algunas veces con ilustraciones impresas o estampadas, y a menudo barnizados para su protección. Diferentes de sus predecesores, "cartilla", que son textos elementales consistentes casi siempre en una hoja de pergamino o lámina de papel montada sobre una tabla delgada de madera y protegida con una capa de cuerno transparente. |
