Additional Notes:
Dutch ..... Onderrokken die oorspronkelijk werden gemaakt van stijve, geweven stof van paardenhaar, linnen, katoen of wol. Later veel gebruikt in combinatie met hoepels van balein of staal. 
German ..... Unterrock, ursprünglich aus einem steifen Gewebe aus Rosshaar, Leinen, Baumwolle oder Wolle. Später oft in Verbindung mit Reifen aus Fischbein oder Stahl verwendet. 
Spanish ..... Enagua originalmente hecha con tela de pelo de caballo, lino, algodón o lana, tejida y tiesa. Más tarde, fue utilizada frecuentemente en conjunción con aros de hueso de ballena o acero.
