Dutch ..... Blanke gevestwapens ontworpen en gebruikt voor de jacht met een doorgaans asymmetrisch gevest en een rechte kling van ongeveer 30 tot 70 cm, eensnijdend en voorzien van een lang rugscherp. |
Spanish ..... Espadas con hojas relativamente cortas, de extremo puntiagudo, un solo filo, curvas o rectas, para ser usadas principalmente como armas cortantes. Sirvieron como armas para múltiples propósitos, y fueron usadas por civiles, cazadores, marineros y soldados de infantería, desde el siglo XVI hasta el siglo XIX. |
