| Chinese (traditional) ..... 薄而輕、織孔粗的重漿棉布，用做襯裡和版畫的抹布。亦指一種十八世紀時引進英國源自印度的平紋細布；十九世紀時，蘇格蘭生產塔拉丹薄紗，普遍用於製作舞會禮服。 |
| Dutch ..... Doorschijnende, dunne, zwaar gesteven en los geweven katoenen stof. Het wordt gebruikt voor voeringen en als veegdoek bij het maken van drukken. Wordt ook gebruikt voor een bepaald soort mousseline die uit India naar Engeland is gebracht in de 18e eeuw en in de 19e eeuw in Schotland werd geproduceerd, meestal voor baljurken. |
| Spanish ..... Úsese para un algodón de tejido abierto brillante, delgado, pesado utilizado para forros y como tela para limpiar en imprenta. Úsese también para un tipo de muselina traído de India al Reino Unido en el siglo XVIII y producido en Escocia durante el siglo XIX, fundamentalmente para vestidos de baile.
