| Dutch ..... Verwijst naar kaarten waarop relatief grote gebieden, bijvoorbeeld landen of continenten, op een kleine schaal worden weergegeven. Behalve staatkundige grenzen en belangrijke steden kunnen op chorografische kaarten ook de natuurlijke configuratie en kenmerken van een gebied zijn opgenomen. Het verschil met 'topografische kaarten' is dat hierop een kleiner gebied is weergegeven. |
| German ..... Bezieht sich auf eine Karte, die in kleinem Maßstab relativ große Gebiete abbildet, wie beispielsweise Länder oder Kontinente. Chorografische Karten können die natürlichen Beschaffenheiten und Merkmale eines Gebietes wiedergeben, zusätzlich zu politischen Grenzen und Großstädten. Sie werden unterschieden von "topografischen Karten", die kleinere Gebiete abbilden. |
| Spanish ..... Se refiere a mapas que representan regiones relativamente grandes, como países o continentes, a pequeña escala. Los mapas corográficos pueden incluir la configuración natural y características de una región, además de las fronteras políticas y ciudades importantes.
