| Chinese (traditional) ..... 屬於劍木屬(Oxandra lanceolata)喬木的木材，原生於牙買加、古巴和海地島，具深色心材，但商業上較偏愛淺色、米黃色邊材，曾用來製作輪輻、四輪馬車軸、釣竿和射箭的弓。 |
| Dutch ..... Hout van de boom behorende tot het genus Oxandra lanceolata, inheems in Jamaica, Cuba en Hispainola. Het heeft donker kernhout, maar de handel betreft vooral het vale, roomgele spinthout, dat voorheen werd gebruikt voor het maken van wielspaken, wagenbomen, vishengels en schietbogen. |
| Spanish ..... Madera del árbol perteneciente a la familia Annonaceae, nativa de Jamaica, Cuba y La Española. Tiene duramen oscuro, pero la preferencia comercial es por su albumen pálido, amarillo cremoso, utilizado para hacer radios de ruedas, ejes de carruajes, cañas de pescar y arcos de tiro. |
