Note: Specific brand of keyboards developed by Harry Chamberlin in conjunction with a London-based manufacturer, which incorporated a selection of electromagnetic tape samples played by pressing the keyboards' keys. The prototype, the Mellotron Mark II, was available in 1964, and was used by numerous pop and rock groups, such as the Beatles and the Moody Blues. |
