Dutch ..... Behangsels bestaande uit stukken stof die ter decoratie losjes, op twee of meer plekken bevestigd, naar beneden hangen om zachte, golvende, halvemaanvormige plooien te vormen. Ze verschillen van 'guirlandes', waarmee bloemen, fruit of gebladerte die op dezelfde manier hangen, worden aangeduid.
