| Dutch ..... Wordt gebruikt voor Amerikaanse bureaus met een rechtopstaande deksel van riet of latten die de rij laden en vakjes bedekt. Ze verschillen van de Engelse 'tambourschrijftafels' die een variatie op het cilinderbureau zijn met een tambourdeksel in plaats van een massieve, gebogen cilinder. Ze zijn ook anders dan '@rolltop desks' die worden gesloten met een flexibele, bolvormige deksel die houten, horizontale latten heeft. |
| Spanish ..... Úsese para escritorios americanos con persianas enjuncadas verticales o hechas de tablillas que cubren el nido de cajones y casilleros. Se diferencian de "mesa de escribir de tambor” inglesa, que es una modificación del escritorio cilíndrico con persianas de tambor en lugar de un cilindro curvado sólido. Se diferencian de "escritorio con tapa enrollable” que se cierran por medio de una persiana flexible de forma convexa compuesta de tablillas de madera horizontales. |
