Dutch ..... Wordt gebruikt om te verwijzen naar kleerkasten in Franse stijl waarin kleding of linnengoed wordt opgeborgen. 
German ..... Ursprünglich ein großer Schrank oder eine große Truhe für die Lagerung von Waffen, Arbeitsgeräten und Werkzeug. Heute bezieht sich der Ausdruck auf Kleiderschränke im französischen Stil für die Aufbewahrung von Kleidung oder Wäsche, mit großen Türen vor Regalböden, manchmal mit Schubladen am unteren Teil des Möbelstücks und mit kurzen Beinen.
