Relatie met andere hiërarchieën: descriptoren voor groepen vervoermiddelen (bijvoorbeeld 'konvooien') of netwerken van vervoermiddelen (bijvoorbeeld 'busvervoersystemen') vindt u in de hiërarchie Objectgroepen en Systemen. Descriptoren die verwijzen naar samenstellende delen van voertuigen (bijvoorbeeld 'fuselages') zijn ondergebracht in de hiërarchie Componenten.
