Note: Plucked harp lutes of the Manding linguistic and cultural family of Africa, having a long neck passing diametrically through a large gourd resonator covered with leather, 21 leather or nylon strings arranged in two parallel ranks perpendicular to the resonator on either side of a vertical notched bridge, and two handles, one on the outer side of each rank of strings. They are played only by male professional musicians.

| Chinese (traditional) ..... 非洲曼丁語言與文化族群的彈撥豎琴式魯特琴，長琴頸長正對穿越包覆皮革的巨大葫蘆共鳴器。21條皮革或尼龍弦平行排列為兩行，分列於具凹口的垂直琴橋，與共鳴器互相垂直。琴身有兩個柄，分別位於兩行琴弦的外側。僅供專業男性琴師演奏。 |
| Dutch ..... Tokkelinstrumenten met een lange hals die diametraal door een klankbodem loopt die is gemaakt van een grote met leer beklede kalebas. Ze hebben 21 lederen of nylon snaren die in twee evenwijdige rijen zijn geordend, aan beide kanten van een verticale kam met inkepingen, loodrecht op de klankbodem. Verder hebben ze twee handvatten, één aan de buitenste kant van elk van de twee rijen snaren. Ze worden alleen door professionele mannelijke musikanten bespeeld bij de Manding in Afrika. |

Gezupfte Harfe der Manding sprechenden Bevölkerungsgruppe in Afrika mit einem langen Hals, der diametral durch eine großen, lederbespannten Kalebassenresonator führt, 21 Ledersaiten oder Nylonsaiten, die in zwei parallelen Reihen senkrecht zum Resonator beidseits eines vertikal eingekerbten Steges angeordnet sind, und zwei Griffen, einer an der äußeren Seite jeder Saitenreihe. Das Instrument wird nur von männlichen Berufsmusikern gespielt. |

Arpas laúd pulsadas de la familia lingüística y cultural Mandinga, de Africa, que tienen un mástil largo que pasa diametralmente a través de un gran resonador de calabaza recubierto con cuero, 21 cuerdas de cuero o nailon arregladas en dos filas paralelas perpendiculares al resonador a ambos lados de un puente vertical con muescas, y dos mangos, uno en la parte externa de cada fila de cuerdas. Son ejecutadas solamente por músicos profesionales masculinos. |
