| Dutch ..... Wordt gebruikt voor fakkels van vlasdraden of katoenen lonten die met hars zijn doordrenkt en met een waslaagje zijn bedekt. Er werden vaak vier lonten samengebonden en opnieuw met een waslaagje bedekt om de fakkel groter te maken. De benaming wordt ook gebruikt voor de fakkels die bij een vuurwerkshow worden gedragen, zoals in een optocht. |

Fackel aus in Harz getränkten Flachs- oder Baumwolldochten, die mit Wachs überzogen werden; um die Fackel zu vergrößern werden häufig vier dieser Dochte zusammengebunden und nochmals mit Wachs überzogen. Ebenso Fackeln, die bei öffentlichen Paraden bei einer pyrotechnischen Vorführung getragen werden. |
| Spanish ..... Úsese para antorchas con mechas de algodón o estopa empapadas con resina, recubiertas con cera; frecuentemente cuatro mechas eran unidas e impregnadas otra vez para aumentar el tamaño de la antorcha. Use también para antorchas llevadas para exhibición pirotécnica, como en los desfiles públicos. |
