wallpaper steamers (<temporary alphabetical list: painting equipment>, painting equipment, ... Furnishings and Equipment (hierarchy name))

Note: Hand-held electric devices, comprised of a water tank, a steam generator, a water pump, and an open-faced steam plate or pan, used to loosen wallpaper from a surface to ease the wallpaper removal process. Once steam is produced in the water tank, it passes through a narrow bore tube to the plate which is then applied directly to the wallpaper; as the steam from the device comes into contact with the wall, it saturates and begins dissolving the paper for stripping.
