Note: A pottery style characterized as attractive sgraffito wares featuring densely incised calligraphic, figurative and geometric designs on crosshatched, cream-colored grounds. Animals designs were popular. Some of the designs found on Amol wares may be derived from metalwork prototypes. Designs are covered with transparent colorless glaze and varying amounts of green oxides. The town of Amol, in the Mazandaran province of western Persia, was the center of production for this pottery style between the 11th and early 13th centuries.

| Chinese (traditional) ..... 陶器風格的一種。其特色為刮花陶器，表面是奶油色的交叉底紋，上面遍佈刻飾的書法、具象及幾何圖案，十分迷人。某些阿摩爾陶器上可見的圖案可能是源自於金屬製品上面的圖案。這些圖案上覆蓋了透明無色的釉以及多寡不一的綠色氧化物。阿摩爾鎮位於西波斯的馬贊德蘭省，在十一世紀至十三世紀初期間，是此種陶器的生產中心。 |
| Dutch ..... Aardewerkstijl die wordt gekenmerkt door aantrekkelijk graffitowerk met dicht ingesneden kalligrafische, figuratieve en geometrische ontwerpen op een crèmekleurige ondergrond met kruisarceringen. Dierontwerpen waren populair. Sommige ontwerpen op Amolwerk zijn mogelijk afgeleid van in metaalwerk uitgevoerde prototypen. De ontwerpen zijn bedekt met transparant kleurloos glazuur en groenoxiden in uiteenlopende hoeveelheden. De stad Amol, in de provincie Mazandaran in West-Perzië, was het productiecentrum voor deze aardewerkstijl, tussen de 11de eeuw en de vroege 13de eeuw. |
| Spanish ..... Un estilo de cerámica caracterizada por una atractiva loza esgrafiada, que presenta una densa caligrafía incisa, diseños figurativos y geométicos, sobre fondos sombreados de color crema. Los diseños de animales fueron muy populares. Algunos de los diseños encontrados en loza de Amol puede derivar de prototipos de trabajo en metal. Los diseños eran cubiertos con glaceado transparente, incoloro que variaba en la cantidad de óxidos verdes. El pueblo de Amol, en la provincia de Mazandaran al oeste de Persia, fue el centro de producción de este estilo de cerámica entre los siglos XI y XIII. |
