Note: Describes the style and culture of the Tahitian people from Tahiti Island. The Tahitian people valued elegant and simple lines in their various types of artwork. It was customary for all Tahitian people to be tattooed distinguishing designs. They were utilized to visually state age and the social ranking of individuals. The tattoo designs were simple and contained bold geometric designs. The area of the buttocks was the most frequently tattooed.

Dutch ..... Beschrijft werken die zijn vervaardigd door de bevolking van Tahiti. In de verschillende kunstwerken gaf het Tahitiaanse volk blijk van een voorkeur voor sierlijke, eenvoudige lijnen. Het was gebruikelijk dat alle Tahitianen zich lieten tatoeëren met onderscheidende ontwerpen, om zo de leeftijd en maatschappelijke status zichtbaar te tonen. De tatoeageontwerpen waren eenvoudig en bevatten krachtige geometrische vormen. De tatoeages werden meestal in de bilstreek aangebracht. 
Spanish ..... Describe obras creadas por tahitianos de la Isla de Tahiti. Los tahitianos valoran las líneas elegantes y simples en sus variados tipos de obras de arte. Para todos los tahitianos era común estar tatuados con diseños distintivos. Estos eran utilizados para diferencias visualmente edades y rango social de cada individuo. Los diseños de tatuaje eran simples y prsentaban llamativos diseños geométricos. El área de las nalgas era la más frecuentemente tatuada.
