Dutch ..... Relatief korte, lichte speren die sinds de oertijd worden gebruikt in oorlog en bij het jagen op groot wild. Term ook gebruikt voor de speren gebruikt bij de sport speerwerpen. 
Spanish ..... Úsese para lanzas arrojadizas relativamente cortas y livianas usadas desde tiempos antiguos en guerras y en la caza mayor. Use también para los venablos livianos con extremo puntiagudo de metal que se arrojan a distancia en competiciones deportivas en pistas y en campo abierto.
