Note: Sets of 144 domino-like pieces or tiles marked in suits, counters, and dice, used to play the tile game of Chinese origin, mah jongg.Mahjong is a tile-based game that was developed during the Qing dynasty in China and has spread throughout the world since the early 20th century. It is commonly played by four players. The game and its regional variants are widely played throughout Eastern and South Eastern Asia and have also become popular in Western countries. The game is played with a set of 144 tiles based on Chinese characters and symbols, although some regional variations may omit some tiles or add unique ones.

Dutch ..... Mahjong is een spel met tegels dat is ontwikkeld tijdens de Qing-dynastie in China en zich sinds het begin van de 20e eeuw over de hele wereld heeft verspreid. Het wordt gewoonlijk gespeeld door vier spelers. Het spel en zijn regionale varianten worden veel gespeeld in Oost- en Zuidoost-Azië en is ook populair geworden in westerse landen. Het spel wordt gespeeld met een set van 144 tegels gebaseerd op Chinese tekens en symbolen, hoewel sommige regionale variaties sommige tegels weglaten of unieke exemplaren toevoegen.
