| Dutch ..... Kuil in de grond waarin een paal kon worden geplaatst. Herkenbaar als een ronde vlek waar de aarde verkleurd is, omdat het hout is vergaan of de kuil later is opgevuld met een ander materiaal. Paalgaten zijn belangrijk voor archeologen om het grondplan van vroegere bouwwerken te kunnen reconstrueren. |
