Men gebruikt de term ook voor mouwloze, sportieve tops en ongevoerde vesten. Tegenwoordig ook de benaming voor de outfit uit één stuk van worstelaars. Gebruik ���wambuizen' voor gevoerde vesten. |
German ..... Ungefütterte, eng anliegende, kragenlose Unterwäsche für Männer, im 18. und 19. Jahrhundert als Unterhemd oder Jersey getragen. Bezieht sich auch auf ein ärmelloses Sport-Top und eine ungefütterte Weste. Im Kontext der modernen Kleidung bezieht sich der Begriff auch auf einteiliges Outfit, das von Ringern getragen wird. Für eine gefütterte Weste wird "Wams" verwendet. |
