Dutch ..... Losvallende lange overjassen of capes met, vaak afneembaar, tot de elleboog reikend schoudermanteltje en nauwsluitende kraag, soms met riem; uit Inverness, Schotland, afkomstig en vooral in de tweede helft van de 19e eeuw in de mode. 
German ..... Locker sitzender, langer Mantel oder Umhang mit Ellenbogenlangem, oft mit abnehmbarem Cape und eng anliegendem Kragen; kann auch gegürtet sein; ursprünglich aus Inverness, Schottland, war vor allem während der zweiten Hälfte des 19. Jahrhunderts modern. 
Spanish ..... Capa o abrigo suelto y largo, con la longitud de un codo, con frecuencia con capa intercambiable y un cuello muy ajustado, y que podía tener cinturón. Original de Inverness, Escocia, y de moda especialmente durante la segunda mitad del siglo XIX.
