| Dutch ..... Eenvoudige damastsoort met een rechtlijnig patroon gevormd door het contrast van de weefselbinding met inslageffect en de binding met kettingeffect. De binding is meestal satijn, of keper met lange vlotters. Het wordt veel gebruikt voor eenvoudig linnen. |
| Spanish ..... Forma simple de damasco con un dibujo rectilíneo formado por el contraste de las caras de trama y urdimbre, con varias urdimbres que flotan en la superficie como el satén, utilizado a menudo para linos simples.
