Note: Photographic process in which the image is formed by dusting a pigment onto a surface of bichromated colloid that has been exposed through a transparency. Areas exposed to light lose their tackiness and hold less pigment. Generally for prints on glass or ceramic, where the pigment is fired as a glaze.

| Chinese (traditional) ..... 一種攝影的印相法，藉由將顏料灑在重鉻酸鹽膠片的表面上形成圖像，該膠片已經先透過透明片進行曝光。曝露於光線中的部分失去其黏性，附著其上的顏料就會比較少。一般應用於在玻璃或陶瓷材質上印製圖像，顏料會被燒製成釉料。 |
| Dutch ..... Fotografische procédés waarbij de afbeelding wordt verkregen door een bichromaatcolloïde oppervlak dat aan het licht wordt blootgesteld door een transparant materiaal te bestuiven met een kleurstof. De gedeelten die zijn blootgesteld verliezen hun kleverigheid en houden minder pigment vast. Meestal gebruikt voor afdrukken op glas of keramiek, waarbij de kleurstof er als een glazuurlaag op wordt gebrand. |
| Spanish ..... Proceso fotográfico; en el cual ciertas sustancias que al ser sometidas al bicromato de potasio perden su viscosidad. Las áreas expuestas a la luz pierden su características y sostienen menos pigmento. al ser espolvoreadas con polvo oscuro se adhiere al soporte por medio del endurecimiento de esta capa por la acción de la luz. Generalmente usadas para las impresiones en cristal o de cerámica, donde el pigmento se enciende como esmalte. |
