German ..... Möbelbein, geformt wie ein Kavalleriesäbel, von quadratisch oder rundem Querschnitt, verjüngt und sanft zum Boden gebogen. Aus dem griechischen Klismos abgeleitet und oft im späten 18. und frühen 19. Jahrhundert bei Stühlen und Sofas verwendet.
