Note: Screens used to shelter the face or legs from the full heat of a fire in a fireplace. May include a decorated panel or panels, often set into a decorative wooden furniture structure that can be moved for the convenience of the sitter. For nonflammable metal screens placed directly in front of fireplace openings to prevent logs and sparks from escaping, use "fire screens (equipment)."
