Note: A type of lightweight transfer paper used for duplicating typewriting, pencil, or pen writing. The paper is coated on one side with dark pigment and a medium, typically a mix of waxes and oils, that is transferred to a copying surface such as paper by the impact of writing pressure or typewriter keys. Smudgeproof carbon paper has an additional coating of plastic lacquer.

| Chinese (traditional) ..... 一種質輕的轉印紙，用來複寫打字稿、鉛筆與鋼筆字。複寫紙的一面塗上暗色顏料和蠟油混合物的介質，藉由寫字的力量或打字機鍵，介質會轉印至一複印的表面（如紙張）上。防汙複寫紙則附有額外的一層塑膠漆。 |
| Dutch ..... Type lichtgewicht doordrukpapier dat wordt gebruikt voor het dupliceren van typewerk of tekst die met potlood of pen wordt geschreven. Het papier is aan een kant bedekt met donker pigment en een oplosmiddel, gewoonlijk een mengsel van was en oliën, dat wordt overgebracht op een kopieeroppervlak, zoals papier, door de druk die tijdens het schrijven met de hand of typemachine wordt uitgeoefend. Vlekvrij carbonpapier heeft een extra laag plastic lak. |
| Spanish ..... Tipo de papel de transferencia liviano utilizado para duplicar escritura a máquina, lápiz o estilógrafo. El papel está revestido en una cara con pigmento oscuro y un medio, generalmente una mezcla de ceras y aceites que son transferidos a una superficie de copia, por ejemplo papel, mediante el impacto de la presión al escribir o de las teclas de una máquina de escribir. El papel carbón a prueba de borrones tiene un revestimiento adicional de laca plástica.
