Note: Process of creating windows or other visual works using glass in cement or another matrix. Pieces of glass, usually slab glass, are laid out in a design or pattern; the pieces of glass may be cut, shaped, and chipped along the edges to resemble faceting. Cement or another material is poured between the pieces of glass, often with metal reinforcements, and allowed to harden.

| Dutch ..... Proces voor het maken van ramen of andere visuele werken met gebruik van glas in cement of een andere matrix. Stukken glas, doorgaans tegels, worden volgens een ontwerp of patroon neergelegd; soms zijn deze stukken glas langs de randen gesneden, gevormd en gebroken om op geslepen glas te lijken. Vervolgens wordt er cement of een ander materiaal tussen het glas gegoten, vaak met metalen steunbalken, en laat men het verharden. |
