Note: Aboriginal Australian hollow-log funerary poles that were used during the second mortuary ceremony of Central Arnhem Land. The second mortuary ceremony symbolized the transition of the soul of the deceased from this world to the afterlife. Made from a tree trunk, dupun are hollowed out, cleaned, and painted with a clan's totemic design. After the mourning period, the bones of the deceased are painted and put inside the dupun.

Additional Notes:
Dutch ..... Holle begrafenispalen van Australische Aboriginals die werden gebruikt tijdens de tweede begrafenisceremonie in centraal Arnhemland. De tweede begrafenisceremonie symboliseerde de overgang van de ziel van de overledene van deze wereld naar het hiernamaals. Dupun werden gemaakt van een boomstam, uitgehold, schoongemaakt en beschilderd met het totemontwerp van een clan. Na de rouwperiode worden de beenderen van de overledene beschilderd en in de dupun geplaatst. 
Portuguese ..... Mastros funerários ocos dos aborígenes australianos que eram usados durante a segunda cerimônia mortuária da "Central Arnhem Land". A segunda cerimônia mortuária simbolizava a transição da alma do falecido desse mundo para a vida após a morte. Feitos de um tronco de árvore, dupun tornam-se ocos, são limpos e pintados com um desenho totêmico do clã. Depois do período de luto, os ossos do falecido são pintados e colocados dentro do dupun.
