Dutch ..... Elk van de verschillende tuigages die over het algemeen worden gekarakteriseerd door een vierzijdig zeil, gebogen aan een ra die de mast schuin kruist; ontwikkeld aan het einde van de 17e tot het begin van de 18e eeuw, vooral voor kleine vissers- of kustbootjes. 
German ..... Eine von verschiedenen Takelungen mit vierseitigem Segel an einer Rahe, die den Mast schräg kreuzt; gegen Ende des 17. bis zum Anfang des 18. Jahrhunderts insbesondere für kleine Fischerboote oder Küstenschiffe entwickelt.
