Additional Notes:
Dutch ..... Gefigureerd enkelvoudig weefsel waarin het patroon wordt gevormd door het contrast tussen twee bindingseffecten. In de oorspronkelijke vorm werd gebruik gemaakt van het ketting- en het inslageffect van dezelfde binding, meestal een satijnbinding. Hierdoor is de figurering van de verkeerde kant identiek aan die van de goede kant. Men kan echter ook twee of meer verschillende bindingen toepassen. 
Spanish ..... Textil tejido a telar con figuras con una trama y una urdimbre, en el cual el diseño se forma por contraste entre los sistemas de unión, y aparece en el anverso y en el reverso en posiciones invertidas.
