Note: Refers to maps of the surfaces of planets other than Earth, or the surfaces of moons, suns, or other celestial bodies. Modern maps of this kind are based on coordinate systems analogous to latitude and longitude used on Earth. In most cases, such modern maps are compiled from photographic observations made with Earth-based equipment or with instruments carried aboard spacecraft. The term is also used to refer to charts of stars and the heavens, where its meaning overlaps with "astronomical charts"; however, "astronomical maps" is most commonly used for all such depictions derived by modern technology.

| Chinese (traditional) ..... 指地球以外之行星表面，或月球、太陽、或其他天體表面的地圖。現代此類地圖以類似地球使用的經緯度座標系統為基礎。在多數情況下，這類現代地圖係由地表設備或太空船裝載之儀器所作的攝影觀測編纂而成。本詞彙亦指繪有恆星與天空的地圖，其意義與「天文圖」雷同；然而，所有運用現代技術所描繪的此類地圖，最常用「星圖」稱之。 |
| Dutch ..... Verwijst naar kaarten van het oppervlak van andere planeten dan de aarde, of van het oppervlak van manen, sterren of andere hemellichamen. Moderne kaarten van dit type zijn gebaseerd op coördinatensystemen die vergelijkbaar zijn met het lengte- en breedtesysteem dat voor de aarde wordt gebruikt. Meestal worden dergelijke moderne kaarten samengesteld op basis van fotografische waarnemingen met op de aarde gestationeerde apparatuur of met instrumenten aan boord van een ruimtevaartuig. De term kan ook verwijzen naar kaarten van sterren en het uitspansel, waarbij dan wel overlapping optreedt met 'sterrenkaarten'; meestal wordt de term 'astronomische kaarten' echter algemeen gebruikt voor alle afbeeldingen die met behulp van moderne technologie zijn vervaardigd. |
| Spanish ..... Se refiere a mapas de las superficies de otros planetas distintos a la Tierra, o de superficies de lunas, soles u otros cuerpos celestes. Los mapas modernos de este tipo se basan en sistemas coordinados análogos a la latitud y longitud usadas en la Tierra. En la mayoría de los casos, tales mapas modernos son compilaciones de observaciones fotográficas hechas mediante equipos con base en la Tierra o instrumentos llevados a bordo de una nave espacial. El término se usa también para referirse a cartas de estrellas y del cielo; donde su significado se traslapa con "carta astronómica". |
