Additional Notes:
Dutch ..... Wapens die bestaan uit een kort handvat waar aan het einde, door middel van een ketting twee of meer gepantserde ballen, een korte gepantserde staaf of een houten gesel met ijzeren punten aan zijn bevestigd. Ze dateren in ieder geval van tenminste de 13e eeuw. 
German ..... Waffe, bestehend aus einem kräftigen Griff an dessen Ende mittels einer Kette zwei oder mehr eiserne Kugeln oder eine kurze Eisenstange angebracht ist; ebenso wird ein Holzstab mit Eisenspitzen bezeichnet. Diese Objekte sind seit dem 13. Jahrhundert nachgewiesen. 
Spanish ..... Armas que consisten en un mango resistente al final del cual se fijan, por medio de una cadena, dos o más bolas revestidas de hierro, una barra corta de hierro, o una vara de madera con puntas de hierro. Datan por lo menos del siglo XIII.
