Dutch ..... Een lichtgewicht weefsel in platbinding, van onverzwaarde zijde of kunstzijde; oorspronkelijk handgeweven van ruwe zijde. Heeft meer inslagdraden dan kettingdraden. Meestal in zijn geheel geverfd of bedrukt. Pongé komt van een Chinees woord voor 'thuis geweven'. |
