Note: Uncommon book format with 18 leaves and 36 pages, used in bookmaking from 1770-1840, but rarely used today. The most common method of creating the size is to fold a sheet in an accordian-fold, followed by an envelope fold, and a right angle fold.

| Chinese (traditional) ..... 不常見的書本格式，為18開及36頁面。多用於1770至1840年間的書籍製作，今已非常少見。製作此尺寸最常見的方法是先將一紙張作手風琴摺，然後接著作信封摺以及直角摺。 |
| Dutch ..... Ongebruikelijk boekformaat met 18 vellen en 36 pagina's. Werd gebruikt voor boeken tussen 1770 en 1840, maar wordt tegenwoordig nog zelden toegepast. De gebruikelijkste methode voor het maken van een octodecimo is door een vel papier als een accordeon te vouwen, gevolgd door een enveloppevouw en overdwars vouwen. |
| Spanish ..... Formato de libro poco común con 18 hojas y 36 páginas usado en encuadernción entre 1770 y 1840, pero escasamente empleado hoy en día. El método más común de crear este tamaño es al doblar un pliego en formato acordeón, continuar con un doblez como sobre y un ángulo recto. |
