Note: Heavy textile consisting of two separate textiles woven simultaneously, one above the other. The warp is composed of two series of ends, and each interlaces with its own weft, or with a common weft which works with each series in turn. In patterned double weave, the two textiles change position as required by the pattern. |

Spanish ..... Textil pesado formado por dos textiles separados tejidos a telar simultáneamente y superpuestos. La urdimbre está compuesta de dos series de extremos y cada uno se entrelaza con su propia trama o con una trama común que interviene con cada serie por turno. En el tejido doble con dibujo, los dos textiles cambian de posición según lo exija el dibujo.
