| Dutch ..... In het algemeen: beschildering op de voor- of achterkant van glas. Beschildering van spiegels en glazen voorwerpen bij wijze van decoratie, en van glasplaten op een manier die in vele opzichten lijkt op het schilderen op doek of houten panelen, vond bijvoorbeeld plaats in India in de 18de en 19de eeuw. Verwijst met name in verband met gebrandschilderde ramen en panelen naar de kunst van het schilderen van delen van een afbeelding, met name de kleinere details, in plaats van deze samen te stellen uit delen van glas-in-lood. |
