Note: A type of transfer paper that has been printed with a design in such a way that the design can be transferred to another surface. Moisture is usually applied to the paper and then it is placed face down on the second surface; the design, or 'decal,' attaches itself to the second surface and the backing is stripped away. Mass-produced ceramic wares are commonly decorated with transfers of this kind.

| Dutch ..... Type overtrekpapier met daarop een gedrukt ontwerp dat is bedoeld om te worden overgebracht op een ander oppervlak. Meestal wordt het papier bevochtigd en vervolgens met de bovenkant naar onderen op het tweede oppervlak gelegd; de transfer hecht zich dan op het tweede oppervlak, waarna de drager kan worden weggetrokken. In massa geproduceerde keramiekwaar wordt vaak met dergelijke transfers gedecoreerd. |
| Spanish ..... Tipo de papel de transferencia impreso con un dibujo en forma tal que el diseño puede ser transferido a otra superficie. Habitualmente se aplica humedad al papel y luego se coloca con la cara hacia abajo sobre la segunda superfie. El diseño o "calcomanía" se fija a la segunda superficie y la parte posterior es eliminada. Los objetos de cerámica masivos se encuentran a menudo decorados con transferencias de este tipo.
