| Dutch ..... Geweven stof met een glad, glimmend oppervlak, gekenmerkt door een hoofdbindingssysteem, de satijnbinding. Bij deze binding loopt elke kettingdraad over vier of meer opeenvolgende inslagdraden heen en onder de volgende door, het bindingspunt. De bindingspunten van de naast elkaar liggende kettingdraden zijn van tenminste twee inslagdraden verschoven, zodat nooit keperlijnen gevormd worden. |
| Spanish ..... Textil tejido a telar que se caracteriza por un sistema básico de unión o tejido con una superficie suave y brillante formada por largos trozos de urdimbre. En general, el extremo de cada urdimbre pasa sobre cuatro o más picos de trama adyacentes y debajo del siguiente.
