Dutch ..... Verwijst in het algemeen naar alle typen vervilte vellen of weefsels die bestaan uit vezels, die uit in water gedompelde pulp zijn gevormd en gedroogd op een fijn schepraam. De vezels kunnen dierlijk zijn, zoals haar, zijde of wol, of mineraal, bijvoorbeeld asbest. Ook kunstvezels zijn een mogelijkheid. Het meeste papier wordt echter gemaakt van plantenvezels van bijvoorbeeld houtpulp, gras, katoen, linnen en stro. 
Spanish ..... Se refiere en general a todo tipo de hojas o redes enmarañadas o afieltradas de fibra formadas y secadas en una filtro fino a partir de un compuesto de agua con pulpa. Las fibras pueden ser animales, como pelo, seda o lana o minerales, como asbesto, o bien sintéticas. Sin embargo, la mayor parte del papel es fabricado con fibra celulósica de plantas la pulpa de madera, pasto, lino y paja.
