Dutch ..... Lichtgewicht, zacht notenhout, variërend in kleur van licht hazelnootbruin met donkere gedeelten in het kernhout tot lichtgeel of wit in het spinthout. Het werd gebruikt voor meubilair, afwerking binnenshuis en in het algemeen voor fijn timmerwerk. 
Spanish ..... Nogal liviano y suave de color marrón castaño claro con zonas más oscuras en el duramen a amarillo pálido o blanco en la albura. Se ha utilizado en muebles, adornos interiores y carpintería en general.
