Note: Valveless brass aerophones with conical bores. These were used mostly in the military to give signals to the infantry. Now chiefly used to refer to trumpet-like instruments of this kind in the Middle Ages and Renaissance, distinguished from modern "bugles."

Agora usado principalmente para se referir a instrumentos semelhantes a trompetes desse tipo na Idade Média e na Renascença, distintos das modernas "cornetas". |
