Note: A form of porcelain decoration that combines underglaze blue outlines with filled-in overglaze enamel colors. The technique was difficult and required two firings: the first outline is painted in underglaze blue, then fired at a high temperature. The outlines were then coloured in with red, yellow, green and aubergine overglaze and the object was fired again at a lower temperature.

Additional Notes:
Dutch ..... Een vorm van porseleinversiering waarin blauwe omtrekken in het onderglazuur worden opgevuld met kleuren in het opglazuur. De techniek was moeilijk en er moest twee keer worden gebakken. De eerste omtrek wordt in blauw in het onderglazuur geschilderd, waarna het product bij hoge temperatuur werd gebakken. Vervolgens werden de omtrekken ingekleurd met rood, geel, groen en auberginekleur in het opglazuur, waarna het object opnieuw werd gebakken, nu bij een lagere temperatuur.
