Note: Creation of images by hyperspectral remote sensors which collect data simultaneously in dozens or hundreds of narrow, adjacent spectral bands. The images thus created are more detailed than those of other multispectral sensors with just a few relatively broad wavelength bands.

| Dutch ..... Het produceren van afbeeldingen met behulp van hyperspectrale teledetectors, die tegelijkertijd data verzamelen in tientallen of zelfs honderden smalle, parallelle spectrale banden. De beelden die op deze manier geproduceerd worden, zijn gedetailleerder dan de afbeeldingen van andere multispectrale sensoren die maar een paar, relatief brede banden vastleggen. |
