Note: Biomes that are warm and frost-free, characterized by tempratures ranging 20-25 degrees C and with precipitation 98-180 inches per year. Typical vegetation includes vines, palm trees, orchids, and ferns. There are two types of rainforests, tropical and temperate. Tropical rainforests are found closer to the equator and temperate rainforests are found farther north near coastal areas.

| Dutch ..... Biomen die warm en vorstvrij zijn, met temperaturen tussen de 20 en 25 graden Celsius en regenval tussen de 2490 en 4570 mm per jaar. Karakteristieke vegetatie in deze biomen zijn klimplanten, palmbomen, orchideeën en varens. Er zijn twee soorten regenwoud: tropisch en gematigd. Tropische regenwouden zijn rond de evenaar te vinden, en gematigde regenwouden verder naar het noorden, dicht bij de kust. |
