Dutch ..... Stuwdammen met in het centrale gedeelte een dikke verticale laag metselwerk of beton die doorloopt tot in de waterdoorlatende lagen van de ondergrond en zo voorkomt dat water door de dam heen kan sijpelen. De dam wordt verder verstevigd met aarde en rotsen. |
German ..... Damm aus Erdreich mit einem massiven Kern aus Mauerwerk oder Beton, der sich in den gewachsenen Untergrund ausweitet und als Blockade gegen Sickerwasser fungiert, während das umgebende Material (Erdreich und Steine) ihm Stabilität verschafft. |
