Note: Conical, double reed instruments of South India, similar to shanais. The pipe of a nagaswaram contains seven equidistant finger-holes with no thumb-hole. Five more holes are located near the distal end of the pipe, which are used for tuning purposes, and may also be filled with wax.

| Chinese (traditional) ..... 南印度的圓錐形雙簧樂器，與沙奈管類似。在其管身上有七個等距的指孔，卻無姆指指孔。還有五個孔位於管身的末梢，具有調音功能，也可以蠟將其填滿。 |
| Dutch ..... Kegelvormig instrument met een dubbel riet uit Zuid-India, lijkend op shanais. De buis van een nadaswaram bevat zeven gaatjes op gelijke afstand van elkaar. Er is geen gaatje voor de duim. Er bevinden zich ook vijf gaatjes aan de onderkant die men gebruikt om het instrument te stemmen. Deze gaatjes kunnen ook zijn gevuld met was. |
| German ..... Konisches Doppelrohrblattinstrument aus Südindien, ähnlich der [Sahnai](300217483). Die Pfeife einer Nagasvaram hat sieben abstandsgleiche Fingerlöcher und kein Daumenloch. Nahe dem distalen Ende der Pfeife sind fünf weitere Löcher angebracht, die zum Stimmen verwendet werden und auch mit Wachs gefüllt sein können. |
