|
Note: Refers to the style of art that is named after the eighth-century ship burial at Oseberg in southern Norway, but is found over a wide geographic area in Scandinavia. While there is considerable variety within the style, it is generally characterized by the use of semi-naturalistic, gripping animals and a formal composition that disposes motifs of equal size over an area, to form a carpet-like design. The style seems to exhibit some connection with the Anglo-Saxon Trewhiddle style.

| Chinese (traditional) ..... 指以西元八世紀挪威南部的奧塞貝格沉船命名的藝術風格，但卻可見於廣大的斯堪地那維亞區域。此風格相當多元，一般特徵常見糾結的半自然風格動物和然有序的構圖，以同尺寸的母題散佈排列在特定區域內，形成地毯狀的設計。與盎格魯撒克遜的崔維德風格似乎有所關連。 |
| Dutch ..... Verwijst naar de stijl van de kunst die is genoemd naar het 8ste-eeuwse scheepswrak in Oseberg, in het zuiden van Noorwegen. De stijl is echter in een groot geografisch gebied in Scandinavië teruggevonden. Hoewel de werken die tot de stijl worden gerekend zeer uiteenlopen, kenmerken ze zich in het algemeen door semi-naturalistische, pakkende dieren en een formele compositie met motieven van gelijke grote die gezamenlijk een bont dessin vormen. De stijl lijkt overeenkomsten te vertonen met de Angelsaksische Trewhiddle-stijl. |

Se refiere al estilo de arte que lleva el nombre del cementerio de barcos del siglo octavo en Oseberg en Noruega del sur, pero que se encuentra en un amplia área geográfica en Escandinavia. Aunque hay variedad considerable dentro del estilo, generalmente se caracteriza por el uso de animales semi-naturalistas, conmovedores y una composición formal que dispone motivos de tamaño igual sobre un área, para formar un diseño parecido a una alfombra.
