Dutch ..... Stijve panelen die meestal driehoekig van vorm en vaak uitbundig versierd zijn en in een open lijfje geplaatst worden om het korset te bedekken. 
German ..... Steife Stoffbahn, in der Regel dreieckig und oft stark verziert, die in ein offenes Mieder eingesteckt wird, um das Korsett zu bedecken.
