Note: Zitherlike instruments of the White Mountain and San Carlos Apache of Arizona and the Diegueño of California, consisting of a hollowed out mescal or other stalk, either split lengthwise or whole, with one or two horsehair strings stretched over small rectangular bridges, one at each end. They are held horizontally with one end resting on the chest or abdomen, and played with a horsehair bow.

Chinese (traditional) ..... 指類似齊特琴的樂器,為白山地區和亞利桑那州的聖卡洛阿帕契人(San Carlos Apache),以及加州迪埃格諾人(Diegueño)所使用。齊斯齊斯迪西琴的琴身,為中空的龍舌蘭或其他植物的莖所製成,縱向切開或保留完整無切開,另外具有一或兩根馬毛製成,越過長方形小琴橋的琴弦,演奏時水平手持,將琴的一端置於胸前或腹前,以馬毛製的弓演奏。 
Dutch ..... Citerachtige instrumenten, bestaande uit een uitgeholde, in de lengte gespleten of soms ook ongespleten magueystengel, bespannen met één of twee snaren van paardenhaar over kleine rechthoekige kammetjes, aan elke kant een; bespeeld met een strijkstok bespannen met paardenhaar, terwijl het instrument rechtop tegen borst of onderbuik wordt gehouden; vervaardigd en bespeeld door de White Mountain- en San Carlos Apache-Indianen in Arizona en de Diegueño in Californië. 
Spanish ..... Instrumentos tipo cítara de los apaches de White Mountain y San Carlos en Arizona, y del pueblo Diegueño de California, que consisten en un tallo de mescal ahuecado partido a lo largo o entero, con una o dos cuerdas de crin de caballo tendidas sobre pequeños puentes rectangulares, uno en cada extremo. Se sostienen horizontalmente con un extremo descansando sobre el pecho o el abdomen, y se tocan con un arco de crin de caballo.
